Troop: Veterans Day at Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill in Middletown

Thank you VeteransSteve and his team at Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill in Middletown have once again asked our troop to assist them for veterans day. Members of the troop are to be there in class-A uniform acting as greeters and door holders, and help to thank veterans and active servicemen and women.

We will also be letting them know about the special menu from which they can pick one entrée at no cost just by showing proof of service. Our troop will be there from 3pm until 7pm on veterans day (November 11th 2013) we would like all members of the troop to participate as we will not be having our regularly scheduled meeting due to the holiday.

The special menu and other details about the Veterans day promotion at Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill can be found here: Applebee’s Veterans Day Promotion

  1. We ended up being there from 11am until 7:30 PM as Steve called us the night before saying no other troops wanted to help out, great Job to all the scouts and leaders who helped out.
